6. Have a plan and stick to the plan – set goals
Dec 07, 2019Just like a road trip, you have to know where you are going to, where you are starting from, and what states you are going to travel to in order to get there. You can let the GPS guide you, but if you want to see any sights along the way, you have to plan. As the old saying goes, “those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”
Write down where you are now (what you own and what you owe), where you want to be at retirement, then figure out what you need to earn and save in order to be able to get there.
Make a plan and stick to it! Don’t forget to plan for emergencies, as well.
